AMI’s team of breast imaging specialists are dedicated to providing the most accurate and timely diagnostics, in a comfortable and relaxing environment. Our breast imaging specialists are all fellowship trained and understand the spectrum of breast imaging, from routine mammograms to breast biopsies. Each year, our team of breast imaging specialists read over 50,000 mammograms and perform over 1,000 minimally invasive breast biopsies.
  • Atlantic Medical Imaging has been designated a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology and is the only outpatient imaging facility in southeastern New Jersey with this designation. The Breast Imaging Center of Excellence signifies that AMI provides services at the highest standards of the radiology profession. Our personnel are well qualified, through education and certification, to perform and interpret medical images. Our equipment is appropriate for the tests and treatments our patients receive, and the facility meets or exceeds quality assurance and safety guidelines.
  • Few mammography centers anywhere can offer both the skill and gentle touch of the breast imaging technologists at Atlantic Medical Imaging. Our team of experienced technologists make every effort to minimize discomfort and inconvenience.
  • If you are diagnosed with breast disease, we provide an experienced breast health navigator to help guide you and your loved ones through the process of recovery. Your breast health navigator is here to answer your questions and explain medical procedures. They are also here to provide comfort, compassion, and emotional support to you and your family.
  • The results of your imaging study are reported to your physician within days. If there is a problem, you are contacted by phone or mail to have diagnostic studies scheduled. After a diagnostic study, a breast imaging specialist will immediately discuss the findings with you and if additional tests are necessary you can be scheduled before you leave the center. Your physician is contacted with the results and the breast imaging specialist’s recommendations.
  • Breast imaging services are available in 10 locations and we offer evening and weekend hours, too!
